The weekend of 09/06/08 - 09/07/08

I attended a show that took place in Jacksonville, FL called the Riverside Arts Festival also known as "RAP", while there I was able to talk to many of the artist who have been attending this show for the past few years. As you all know for the past year a lot of artists and craftsman have been in a slump due to the economy, although you would have never guessed that at this show! As I started to talk to the exhibitors I also saw that quite a few of the exhibitors were SOLD OUT or well on their way to being sold out!!!!!!!

This show in previous years has had to deal with not only construction and weather but the news media telling people last year that the park was closed. This year all the construction was gone and the weather was beautiful! So next year when your planing your events don't forget to include the fine art & fine craft show "RAP".
